This is my February card to my team members - just a small token of my appreciation. Whether you are a current team member or you join in February (which is the BEST time to join), this card is yours to enjoy!
Items needed:
Simply Succulents stamps and Potted Succulent Dies
Inks: Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Basic White, Very Vanilla, Soft Sea Foam, Blackberry Bliss, Oh So Ombre DSP
Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim
- Cut the white paper to 4¼ x 5½ inches. Cut using the largest die.
- Using blending brushes, color the cut piece using Soft Sea Foam in the center, Old Olive around that and Blackberry Bliss at the edges. *** Hint: If you place another piece of white cardstock behind it before you blend, then you get another beautiful creation to use on another project.
- Adhere the cut-out to the front of Very Vanilla card base. Hint: Dab a sponge in liquid glue and apply it lightly to the thin areas to adhere.
- Use the large die on the Oh So Ombre green paper. Be careful to keep the negative pieces intact. Pick the succulent that you wish to enhance. Transfer the negative pieces from the green sheet to the same succulent on the cardfront as shown. If you like puzzles, you're gonna love this! The pick-up tool is a big help for these small pieces!
- Use the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment onto a small piece of Soft Sea Foam paper. First in Blackberry Bliss ink, then wipe the stamp and ink the "extraordinary" with Versamark. Add clear embossing powder and heat emboss it.
- Use the die to cut out the sentiment and cut a second piece out of Blackberry Bliss paper. Cut the Blackberry Bliss in half and snip off where shown. Then adhere it to the back.
- Add the linen, unravel the ends. Use dimensionals to adhere the sentiment.
- Enjoy!
