I was searching for party favors for my first Sip N Stamp. You heard that right-time to shake off the dust and put on my lipstick!! Since Easter is two weeks away, a basket seemed to be the way to go. These baskets have been around for a while in one shape or another but then I realized that baskets are not just for Easter. Be sure to check out the bottom of this post for some other ideas!!
This tutorial will show you how to make a quick and easy basket using a 6"x 6" sheet of DSP! And what stamper doesn't have at least 3,000 sheets of DSP in this size laying around???
My biggest dilemma??? Not eating the candy before the stamping party gets here!!
Directions:
- Pick any 6" x 6" DSP or cardstock.
- Score it at 2" and 4", then turn it 90 degrees and score it again at 2" and 4". Fold it at all score lines.

- Now take your scissors and cut at the lines indicated in the photo.
- Place glue at the areas indicated by the green marker.
- Now bring the two outside pieces together, right side first, followed by the left side (with the glue on the corner). Match up the points at the top. Hold for a moment to let the glue work.
- Turn it over and repeat to make the other side.
- Handle: Cut a strip of DSP to ¾" x 6". Add Stampin' Seal+ as shown by the green marker lines. You can also use a heavy ribbon for the handle of your basket.
- Adhere the strip to the inside of the basket, making it the desired height.
- Now decorate the outside as desired and fill with goodies!
